Stevenson, Robert
1905-1986
   Britanico, educado en la Universidad de Cambridge, es conocido internacionalmente por ser el director de Mary Poppins (1964). En su pais natal, y en su primera etapa como realizador cinematografico, dirigio una primera version del clasico de la literatura de aventuras Las minas del rey Salomon (King Solo - mon’s Mines, 1937). Ya en Hollywood dirige la que podemos considerar su obra maestra, Alma rebelde (Jane Eyre, 1944), aunque no se sabe en que medida el acierto se debe a la presencia en la pelicula, como actor, de Orson Welles. Despues de una decada, la de los 50, en la que la television le tuvo muy atareado, termino su carrera, en los 60 y los 70, dirigiendo comedias banales para Walt Disney.
